Kimmy currently coaches Breath & Exposure at DEUCE Gym in Venice, CA. She started the Breath & Exposure program in April of 2019 and has already taken hundreds of people through the B&E curriculum. She is one of less than 10 XPT Level 3 coaches in the world, trained by Power Speed Endurance Art of Breath, Patrick McKeown of The Oxygen Advantage, and mentored by Laird Hamilton & Gabby Reece, world class humans & founders of XPT. Committed to a lifetime of better understanding human perception, Kimmy is passionate about teaching others how breathwork can help them live happier, healthier, more peaceful lives.
Kimmy spent a decade coaching & teaching in Virginia prior to running B&E. She is an NLP Master Practitioner, a CrossFit Level 2 Coach, and was the 2018 Virginia State High School Coach of the Year for soccer for both United Soccer Coaches & Virginia High School League, where she led her team to a State Title in only her second year as Head Coach.
Kimmy earned her BA and MA in Communication at George Mason University. She was a two-sport NCAA Division 1 athlete, competing for both the soccer & track teams. During her senior year, she received the Aimee Willard Commemorative Award, an annual award presented to the student-athlete who best exemplifies the following standards of quality: intensity, consistency of purpose, achievement and teamwork. Kimmy went on to teach Interpersonal Communication, Group Interaction & Public Speaking at GMU for 7 semesters.
